rex makes a soft , nervous chuckle . he loved horror , but the gorey ones often got to him . he hadnt realized the movie planned to go watch would be one those films , but not wanting to disappoint he still agreed to it anyway .

The shorter skeleton may lower his weapon but didn’t dismiss it just yet, even know as he kept hir purple dotted sockets upon the robotic monster before pointing a gloved hand over at his brother “HE WAS LATE” in response Smokes shrugged his shoulder sliding his hands into his jacket’s pocket “fashionably late.”
That didn’t seem very funny to the shorter skeleton “LATE IS STILL LATE BROTHER, YOU’RE LUCKY ALPHYS WASN’T HERE.”
Mettaton’s soul felt like it froze over at the mention of Alphys. Mettaton’s eyes stared on at the shorter skeleton in worry before he tried to calm himself down. Perhaps the Alphys here was different?
Nonetheless, Mettaton looked about ready to pass out at the sheer mention of Alphys. He pressed forward though, not wanting to let Smokes be pushed around as he did harbor a bit of an affection for the skeleton.
“Erm, if I may butt in for a moment? He was late because of an important matter he was attending to with me,” Mettaton somewhat lied. Sure, Smokes was late and sure it was an important matter to the both of them but it wasn’t like he expected Smokes’ brother to understand that Smokes was late due to a kissing match.
